Marcus is a recurring character in the series Dork Diaries. He is the guitarist of the band Actually, I'm Not Really Sure Yet. He appears in Dork Diaries: Tales From a Not-So-Talented Pop Star and Dork Diaries: Tales From A Not-So-Happy Heartbreaker.
Personality
Marcus appears to be a shy, nice and thoughtful character in Dork Diaries. Marcus is also known as one of the smartest people in school along with Theodore L. Swagmire III.
Appearance
Marcus has straight black hair. In Dork Diaries: Tales from a Not-So-Talented Pop Star, Marcus' hair is tied in a ponytail, but in Dork Diaries: Tales from a Not-So-Happy Heartbreaker, his hair is short. Throughout the books, he usually wears jeans, hoodies, and T-shirts. He wore a black tuxedo while in the Sweetheart Dance.

Marcus's friends include Nikki Maxwell, Brandon Roberts, Chloe Garcia and Theodore L. Swagmire III. He also seems to be acquaintances with Zoey Franklin.

Marcus has a crush on Chloe Garcia. In Dork Diaries: Tales From a Not-So-Talented Pop Star, they barely interacted but in Dork Diaries: Tales From A Not-So-Happy Heartbreaker, they went together as dates in the Sweetheart Dance. They held hands, slow-danced and and took a keepsake picture together. They also may have kissed.
